Ruby Ellen Foster

Mrs. Ruby Foster, age 80, of Brooks, returned to her Heavenly Father on December 23, 2018.  Mrs. Foster was born to the late Horace and Stella Aubrey in Louisville, Kentucky on July 30, 1938. She formally attended the Holiness Church and was self-employed where she worked in landscaping and care-giving.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, George E. Foster; her son, “Little George”; her parents; and 6 brothers and sisters.  

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Rosetta Cahill (Larry); sons, Glen Foster (Debbie), Garry Foster (Karen) and Steven Foster; 7 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; brother George Aubrey; sisters, Kathy Aubrey-Reed Fields and Elaine Elkins; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends,  

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at 10:00 am in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial to follow in Highland Memory Gardens. Friends and family may pay their respects on Wednesday from 12:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
