Sarah Price Scott

Mrs. Sarah Price Scott, age 80, of Okolona, returned to her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 with her family by her side. Mrs. Scott was born on September 17, 1935 to the late Thomas D. and Arlene Price. She was a member of Hillview Assembly of God Church, she graduated from nursing school in 1976 and was currently teaching for Jefferson Community and Technical College.

Among those who preceded her in death include, her brothers, W.T. Price, Kenneth Ray Price (Emma Jean) and Charles E. Price (Gloria).

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 60 years, James Ivan Scott; son, Ivan Ray Scott; sister, Gertie Price Hatfield; sister- in - law, Elizabeth W. Price; brother- in - law, William L. Scott (Marian); several nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 5, 2016 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with interment in Hebron Cemetery. Friends and family may pay their respects on Friday from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Saturday from 10:00 am until the time of service at Schoppenhorst.
