Mrs. Shirley Ann (Goodlett) Meador, age 82, of Shepherdsville returned to her Heavenly Father on Monday, July 15, 2019. Mrs. Meador was born in Mt. Eden, KY on January 11, 1937 to the late Jeremiah and Elizabeth (Redmond) Goodlett. Among those that preceded her in death are her parents; brother, William Oscar Goodlett; and sister, Verla Mae Burgin.
She leaves to cherish her memory her loving and devoted husband of 67 years, Charles Edward Meador; children, Charles Edward Meador, Jr. (Linda), Michael Duran Meador (Pat) and Debra Curtsinger (Donald); grandchildren, Timmy Meador, Amy Peterson (Mike), Mike Meador (Donnita), John Meador (Jan), Donnie Curtsinger (Adrienne), Nick Meador (Dana), and Donna Jo Riley (Todd); 20 great grandchildren; and brother, Jerry Allen Goodlett.
Funeral service will be held at 10 am on Saturday, July 20, 2019 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with entombment to follow at Highland Memory Gardens. Friends may pay their respects on Friday from 4 pm until 8 pm and on Saturday from 9 am until the time of service at the funeral home. www.subfuneralhome.com
