Shirley Ruth Wright

Mrs. Shirley R. Wright, Age 88, of Shepherdsville, Ky passed away on Saturday, August 2, 2025. Shirley was born in Co-Operative, Kentucky on July 31, 1937, to the late Russell and Mittie “Phillips” Strunk. Shirley was a retiree of General Electric. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother to her family. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her loving husband, James D. Wright; daughters, Karen Crenshaw (Barry) and Beverly George (Brad); 2 granddaughters, Michelle and Rachel; 3 great grandchildren, Makalah, Hendrick and Juliana; sister, Bonnie Burke. Along with a host of other dear family and friends. A private graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 7th, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Highland Memory Gardens (279 Landis Lane, Mount Washington, Ky 40047).
