Susie E. "Rose" Brooks

Ms. Susie (Rose) Brooks, age, 93 of Okolona, Ky returned to her Heavenly Father on Thursday, October 24, 2024. She was born on May 30, 1931, to the late Ellis Rose and Ellen (Nantz) Rose. She worked for over 27 years at General Electric, and one of her favorite things was spending time with her family. She will be truly missed by all that knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, granddaughter Stephanie Brooks, 5 brothers and sisters.    

She is survived by her loving son John Brooks, Sr., (Pam), grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great granddaughter, along with a host of nieces, nephews and other dear family and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at 12:00 noon in the chapel at Schoppenhorst Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N. Preston Hwy, at John Harper Freeway). Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Burial to follow at Brookland Cemetery.
