Terry Ray Barnes, Sr.

Mr. Terry Ray Barnes, Sr., age 64, of Cox’s Creek returned to his Heavenly Father on March 26, 2018. Mr. Barnes retired from Ford Motor Company after 30 years of service and was a bus driver for Jefferson County Public Schools. Mr. Barnes was a U.S. Air Force veteran. Among those that preceded him in death include his parents, Ermin and Marie (Liles) Barnes; and siblings, Nancy Barnes, David Barnes, Jim Barnes and Joyce Jessie. He leaves to cherish his memory his fiancée, Cammy Reagan; sons, Terry Barnes, Jr. (Jennifer) and Kevin Barnes (Nicole); grandchildren, Collin, Grace, Courtney, Destiny, Alexia, Nick, Addyson, Zachary and Morgan; stepchildren, Melissa Knobel and Brian Weeks; siblings, Carolyn Goodman (Kenneth), Jackie Barnes (Teresa), Linda Jessie and Doris Francis; and all his Mustang family.

Funeral service will be conducted at 2 pm on Saturday, March 31, 2018 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with interment at 12:30 pm on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff, KY. Friends may pay their respects on Friday, March 30, 2018 from 1-8 pm and Saturday from 9 am until time of service at the funeral home.
