Mrs. Theresa Belcher, age 75, of Shepherdsville, Ky. returned to her Heavenly Father on July 19, 2018. Mrs. Belcher was born on May 19, 1943 in Louisville, Ky. to the late Eddie and Hallie (Whobrey) Thornton. She was a nurse for Audubon Hospital. She will be remembered as a caring and giving person with a heart of gold.
She was preceded in death by a son, William Allen Vest.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband of 40 years, Fred Belcher; children, David Belcher (Melissa), Laura Belcher, Tony Belcher and Brandon Belcher (Laura Williams); grandchildren, Rachael, Rebecca, A-Morgan, Mariah, Vernon, Choloe, Hallie, Dillon, Braxton, and Kaylee.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at St. Rita Catholic Church (8709 Preston Hwy.) with burial in Brookland Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Monday, July 23, 2018 from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Schoppenhorst, Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (Brooks Rd. at Preston Hwy.).
