My best  friends father and a true gentleman

I was so sorry to hear about Tommys death.  I thought him to be a very fine man.  He had a goodness in his heart that you don’t see in everyone.  My heartfelt sympathy to you and your family.

When asked to speak at the funeral, I said I couldn’t do it. Partly because it would be hard but partly because I wasn’t sure how to put it into words.  A friend asked why I cared so much because he was just a friends grandfather but Tommy was never “just” anything. The man wore so many hats and played so many roles for different people. He wasn’t “just” a husband to Robin. He was her best friend, her rock, her light when it was dark, and her happiness when things were bad. Tommy wasn’t “just” a grandfather to Tanner. He was a father, a role model, a teacher, a provider, and a life coach when he needed to be. Tommy wasn’t “ just” a father in law to Belle. He was again, a role model, a light, and  an all around very close family member who basically considered her his own blood daughter. 

Who he was to me was not all clear while he was here. It was only upon reflection that I realized it. To me, he was an adoptive grandfather. A man you called with any problem no matter how big or small and he would help you through it. He taught me so many things in life that would take decades to learn the hard way. He was a major male role model in my life and a prime example of what a real man should be. His love for his family, in particular Robin, is inspirational in all aspects of life. 

I could go on for days about Tommy. But the basic moral is, if someone becomes half the man he was, they will be doing amazing with their life. 
Goodbye Tommy, until we meet again. 

What a kind man.  I am so sorry for the loss . I know Tommy will be missed by so many.  

So sorry, I remember when we were on the school bus, he was the love of your life.  Take care of yourself 💕  let us know if we can be of any help.

What great guy. Always enjoyed our golf trips with Plumbers Supply. He always had great stories and jokes to tell. Fantastic business man. Successful in life and business. He will be missed. Rest In Peace.

Robin, 
I am praying a blanket of comfort and love over you in the days, weeks, and months ahead. Tommy was such a kind soul and always had a smile on his face. I bet he’s enjoying the glory with those who went before him.  Picture the smile he must of had in those reunions.

so sorry to hear this. Tommy you will be greatly missed by my family and I.  You and Robin were a huge part of our lives! Till we meet agian in heaven.

Tommy was kind and generous. Somehow I only realized recently that he and I met a decade ago when I was a scared single mother and new homeowner. He was kind and generous in his business and I used his company ever since. I only recently realized this man who treats everyone like family was the one who “saved the day” at my house so long ago. I’m sorry I didn’t make time to tell you the story. Tommy is the best kind of person and has an amazing family. Thank you for all you’ve done for others. So much love to Robin. Your angels will be missed here. One day we will be united again. I believe that.
