Walter Hollis Harris

Mr. Walter Hollis Harris, 96, of Louisville, returned to his Heavenly Father Tuesday, July 4, 2017. Mr. Harris was a World War II veteran. Among those who preceded him in death include his parents, Alferd and Nannie Harris; son, Bobby Harris (Mary Lou); grandson, Georgie Harris; sisters, Catherine Brinley (Rich), Margaret Neagle (Vester) and Alice McCawley (Clarence). He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 47 years, Rena Andrew Harris; children, Billy Harris (Bonnie), Buddy Wallace, Miranda Keith (Joe), Lavonne Keith (Mike), Mitch Reeder (Michelle), Teresa Waldron (Kevin); 16 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; half-brother, Kenneth Harris and stepsister, Gladys McCawley (Clarence).

Funeral service will be held at 10 am Saturday, July 8, 2017 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.) with burial at Brookland Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Friday, July 7, 2017 from 3 pm until 8 pm. www.subfuneralhome.com
