William "Billy" Ray Green, Jr.

Mr. William Ray Green, Jr. “Billy”, age 49, of Campbellsville, formerly of Shepherdsville returned to his Heavenly Father on September 13, 2021. Mr. Green was born on June 13, 1972 in Louisville, KY to Roberta (Goins) Green and the late William Ray Green, Sr. He was an HVAC Journeyman and worked for Energy Control Heating and Air. He was a member of Journey Church Shepherdsville and 3 Trees in Campbellsville. He was a 1992 graduate of Bullitt Central High School and KCTCS in 2018.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 22 years, Lacey (Merriett) Green; children, William Ray Green III “Trace”, Miranda Rae Green, Braydyn Thayne Green, and Tristan Arnold Green; grandson, Kailer Anthony Lampkin-Green; mother, Roberta Green; sisters, Connie Dunn and Wilma Kay Hornback; several beloved nieces and nephews; and a host of family and friends.

Funeral service will be conducted at 10 am on Saturday, September 25, 2021 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with interment in Pennsylvania Run Cemetery.
