

Albert Bryson Cato, 86, of Monroe, passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2012, in Social Circle. Bryson was born on December 7, 1925 in Bainbridge, GA to Jessie and Mattie Cato. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during World War II and worked for many years at General Motors. Mr. Cato was a member of Bold Springs United Methodist Church and UAW. He was a serious fisherman and loved his farm animals. He was preceded in death by his son Larry Cato. Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Mary, of Monroe, daughter Faye Crupi and husband Jim of Plano, TX, sons Stan Cato and wife Sharon of Monroe and Kenneth Cato and wife Doris of Canon, GA, sisters Mary Ellen Taylor and June Wagner, brothers Evans Cato and Eddie Cato, grandchildren Jeff Cato and wife Maggie, Shannon Crupi, Eric Cato and wife Jenie, Matthew Crupi, Sara Cato and Neal Cato and great grandchildren Alexis and Julianne Cato. Visitation will be from 5-8 pm on Tuesday, February 7, 2012, at Eternal Hills Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, February 8, 2012, in the Eternal Hills Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Tucker, GA.
