Elizabeth “Tootsie” Nicholson, 85, passed away on Saturday, August 6, 2011, in Monroe, GA. Tootsie was born on February 13, 1926 in Atlanta. She was preceded in death by her husband George T. Nicholson. Survivors include her sons Kennon Nicholson of Douglasville and Terry Nicholson of Chamblee, daughter Joy (Nicholson) Shehee and husband Lee of Monroe, grandchildren Brian (Nicholson) Grogan and fiancé Joy Sharp, Kevin Nicholson and fiancé Stephanie Barnwell, Kristen Shehee, Josh Shehee, Michelle (Nicholson) Harrington and husband Patrick and Tracey (Nicholson) Pearson and husband Erik, great grandchildren Bradley, Jacob, Charity, Destiny, Eternity, Gabe and Bray and dear friends Cathy Davis and Robin Gibson. Visitation will be from 3-8 pm on Tuesday, August 9, 2011, at Eternal Hills Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at 3:00 pm on Wednesday, August 10, 2011, in the Eternal Hills Funeral Home Chapel.
