Mrs. Gaynelle Dixon, 93, went to be with the Lord July 25, 2018 following a brief illness. Born in Ashburn, Georgia, Gaynelle met and married William L (Bill) Dixon in 1947 when they both worked at Westinghouse Electric in Atlanta. Their marriage spanned more than 67 years until Mr. Dixon passed away in 2015. "Nana" is survived by two children, Linda Johnson and Steven Dixon, a granddaughter, Jessica Goss, and two great-grandchildren, Caroline and Kate Goss, and a nephew, Ron Ellington.
Gaynelle was "Old School"- a woman of strong convictions, an unwavering faith in Jesus Christ, and complete devotion to her family; she will surely be missed.
A funeral service will be held Sunday, July 29 at 3 pm in the Chapel of Eternal Hills Funeral home, visitation will be 1 hour prior.
