Henra Ann Cobb was born January 15, 1936 in Decatur, Mississippi. She graduated from Mississippi School for the Deaf. On July 9, 1956 she married John Clark and together they had two sons, Henry and Ben.
As missionaries, John and Henra traveled the United States and several other countries preaching the Gospel, ultimately founding the Deaf Baptist Fellowship of America in 1981. Henra and John were married for 62 years until John’s passing in 2018.
She is survived by her sister Lynn Tierney, nieces Rachel Howard and Melinda Sutherland, nephew Barry Williams, Grandson James Clark, Granddaughter Amelia Clark step grandsons Eli and Liam Humphries.
Henra Ann was a faithful, unwavering Child of God, turning hearts towards Jesus Christ for 88 years. We all rejoice in knowing that she is receiving her reward in heaven, hand in hand with her husband and two sons.
A funeral service for Henra will be held Sunday, February 18, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Eternal Hills Funeral Home, 3594 Stone Mountain Highway, Snellville, GA 30039. Following the funeral service will be a committal service at Eternal Hills Memory Gardens, 3700 Stone Mountain Hwy, Snellville, GA 30039.
