Lannie Paul Scott, age 59, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 24, 2021. Lannie was born on September 9, 1961 to Jimmy Lee and Betty Anne Scott and grew up in the city of Atlanta. He was an HVAC tech and mechanic for more than 30 years; Lannie loved working on cars and he loved all of his family, which he expressed often.
Lannie was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Lee Scott; mother, Betty Anne Scott; sister, Joyce Monsrud and companion, Leisa Estelle Hardenbrook.
Survivors include: fiancé, Traci Fowler of Lavonia, GA; son, Justin Scott and wife, Madison of Monroe, GA; son, Matthew Scott and wife, Kelli of Jefferson, GA. Grandkids: Madison Scott, River Scott, Peyton Scott, Nathan Scott, Austin Sweat, Kane Scott, Shawn Sweat and MJ Scott. Great Grandson, Jaxon Spence. Brothers: Tommy Scott of Conway, SC; Jonathan Scott of Monroe, GA. Sisters: Donna Ansley of Winder, GA; Karen Scott of Jacksonville, FL and Lisa Bryson of Walnut Grove, GA.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at 1:00 PM in Eternal Hills Memory Gardens, Snellville; visitation is 2 hours before inside Eternal Hills Funeral Home.
