Mrs. Gill was a delight to know and be around. I met her while volunteering for Meals on Wheels. I always looked forward to her sweet smile. Due to health reasons I was no longer able to do volunteering and I sure did miss her.
I'm so sorry to learn of her death. My condolences to her family. She was so proud of her grandson. I'm so glad I got to know her.

What a blessing and an honor to have met this beautiful soul. Mrs. Gill made quite an impression on my daughter and me several months ago. She was the eldest of all the women my daughter and I had ever encountered and we left in awe of her youthful beauty, strength, infectious smile and conversation that warmed our hearts. I thank her for the lifelong impression she made on us. We will be forever grateful to have been in her presence. We learned so much when this exceptional educator didn't even realize she was teaching. Thank you, Mrs. Gill, for sharing a small and brief moment of your tremendous life with us. You will forever remain in my heart.

Mrs. Gill was a wonderful lady that I found fun to be around! Between us, we shared countless stories and laughs, even at her son Bobby's expense!😌 Her connection in our community, like Mr. Gill's, were endless and significant, which contributed to the Gill family name as a family of dignity and integrity within the Queens community. She made me feel welcomed in her home, like another son, and she confined in me when she wanted to know what Bobby was thinking during a few of his private moments - even during such chats, I believed we had the most laughs.😏(Sorry, Rob!)
Mrs. Gill, was such an intelligent woman who truly loved her family, especially her 3 children. Her positivity was constant and always presence - and so was her sense of humor! I have enough Bobby-Chip-Cheryl stories she shared that would embarrass them into not being friends with me! However, I treasure and cherish such moments had with Mrs. Gill. She was the type of lady you would never want to let down - she was one of the few "other mothers" in my life that inspired me to always "make them proud"! Thank you, Mrs. Gill, for being a positive role model in my life, second to that of my mom, in which you both knew each other as strong black women within the Queens community! Just like I had never forgotten your birthdate, I shall always remember you and the legacy you leave for us all to honor, uphold, and follow. May you rest well in Paradise with God.
- Your "other" son, Ralph Stowe

I remember when I went up to New York to help them move down here to Lawrenceville Ga, it was a pleasure moving the Gill family and they were so happy that I was able to achieve that for them and she became my new MOM, and I was so excited and proud to help them move here it was a pleasure, and she will be dearly missed. Loved always Ray Ray.

It was such an honor caring for your Aunt Clara and your father. Your Mom was always there to lend a hand, share her wisdom, and to make my time spent with your family enjoyable and memorable.
May she be at peace. ❤️❤️❤️

My Godmother, affectionately called Aunt Mary, was very special to me. She and my mother were best friends and Aunt Mary became a second mother to me as a youngster. I remember my brother and I spending weekends with Aunt Mary and Uncle Kenny and having the time of our lives. Aunt Mary introduced us to the most delicious home made pineapple ice cream. She was kind hearted, affectionate, studious and an original diva! Her smile was contagious. Your work here is now done. Rest in the arms of Jehova Aunt Mary until we all meet again.
