Mary Jane Mann

Mary Jane Mann, 94, of Lawrenceville, Georgia went home to be with her Lord and savior Christ Jesus, on August 23rd 2017. Mrs. Mann was born in Huntington West Virginia on December 26th 1922. She is preceded in death by her parents Charles Holloway and Olive Harper Holloway and her sister Elizabeth Sheppard. She attended the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg Virginia and graduated in 1945 with a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Arts. She held a position for one year teaching Arts at a grade school in Norfolk Virginia before marrying Emmett Mann on March 3rd 1946.

She is a devoted wife of 59 years and a beloved mother survived by her four children, David Mann and wife Roberta of Tallahassee Florida, Janet and husband Phil Walker of Snellville Georgia, Douglas Mann and wife Susan of Malabar Florida, and Jody Mann of Lawrenceville Georgia. Grandchildren, Patrick Mann and wife Melanie of Austin Texas, Andrew Roof and wife Tanya of Phoenix Arizona, Adam Roof and wife Cameron of Marietta Georgia, Jessica and husband Gary Jamieson of Tallahassee Florida, and Stephen Mann of Forest City North Carolina. Great grandchildren Bryson, Jackson, and Kate of Austin Texas, Anderson and Austin of Phoenix Arizona. Brother Charles Holloway of Daytona Beach Florida.

Funeral services will be held Sunday August 27th 2017 at 2 p.m. at Eternal Hills Chapel with Reverend Mac Palmer officiating. Visitation prior to service will be at 1 p.m. Interment following chapel service will be at Eternal Hills Funeral Home Gardens. A reception following Interment will be at Eternal Hills Funeral Home.
