Rebecca Joy Aldarondo

Rebecca Joy Aldarondo, age 70, of Snellville, Ga., died suddenly of a heart attack on Monday, October 26, 2015. She was preceded in death 5 years to the day by her beloved husband, Federico (Fred) Aldarondo. Visitation will be Thursday, October 29 from 6 to 8 pm at Eternal Hills Funeral Home, Snellville, Ga. A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Friday, October 30, at the same location with Rev. Jeff Gongwer officiating. Burial will be private in Auburn, Al., where she was born and raised. Rebecca was a devoted wife and mother. Rebecca loved to travel, read, and walk, and she was an avid cat lover. Much of her life was dedicated to caring for children and others. She was a faithful church member at Mt. Zion Baptist Church and was previously a long-time member at First Baptist Church of Lilburn, GA. She is survived by her daughters, Maria Cristina Carrington of Loganville and Anna Laura Aldarondo of Hoschton, son, Federico “Felito” Aldarondo of Lexington, KY, and her grandchildren, Amber, Ethan, Eva and Isabela.
