Robert William Samuelson

Robert William Samuelson, age 76, of Buford, GA, passed away Monday, October 10, at his home. A service for Bob will take place Friday, October 28, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1826 Killian Hill Rd., Lilburn, GA 30047. The family will receive friends at 1:00 in the Fellowship Hall of the church, followed by the service at 2:00. After the service, refreshments will be served in the Fellowship Hall.

Bob was born September 6, 1946, in Fort Dodge, IA, to Leona Mae (Heesch) Samuelson and Wilbur J. Samuelson. Bob graduated from Orion High School and Illinois State University. He married Jane (Byram) Samuelson September 2, 1967. Bob was the International Sales Manager for Chinook Chemical Co. After retiring, he and Jane enjoyed traveling and cruising. He was an active member of Trinity Lutheran since 1975. Most importantly, Bob loved and was so proud of his sons and grandchildren.

Bob is survived by his wife Jane, son Christian, former daughter-in-law Sarah, granddaughter Georgia, grandson Jeremy, son Ben and wife Whitney (McCoy) Samuelson, granddaughter Caroline, and grandson Benjamin. He is also survived by his sister-in-law Judy (Byram) Nelson, brother-in-law Rollin Nelson, niece Gina (Nelson) Boop (Jeff), and nephew Jeremy Nelson. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church and may be sent to Jane Samuelson, 3307 Aberrone Place, Buford, GA 30519.
