Ruth A. George

Ruth was born October 22, 1930, to Mr. Alloysis and Mrs. Ruth Nock.

She is survived by her husband, Richard M. George of 68 years; son Richard George (Lisa); and daughter Pamela Wheeler (Don); brother Joseph Nock (Betty), sister Jean Christy (Jim) and sister-in-law Shirley Nock; granddaughter Jennifer Ottaviono (Brian), grandson Croix William Wheeler, granddaughter Tiffany Sams (Robbie), great grandson Rory Sams and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ruth was preceded in death by her; father Mr. Alloysis and Ruth Nock; sister Irene Kotelec(Bill); brother Wayne Nock (Shirley); sister-in-law Betty Nock; and brother-in-law Jim Christy.

Ruth graduated from Tarentum High school, where she lead as Head Majorette. She was an avid sewer, quilter, artist, and gardener. Ruth was a part of the Women's Auxiliary of University Hospital in Augusta, GA ,and also a member of the United Methodist Church.

A visitation for Ruth will be held Wednesday, March 21, 2018 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Eternal Hills Funeral Home and Cremation, 3594 Stone Mountain Highway, Snellville, GA 30039, with a funeral service immediately following. Contributions in Ruth's memory may be made to Habitat For Humanity.
