

Stephen(Steve) Walter Narrie, 76, of Snellville, GA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday January 29th. Born on March 5, 1948, in Rochester NY, Steve was a beloved father and dedicated volunteer, who lived a life full of purpose and service.
Steve is survived by his two daughters, Leanne Narrie Rambo and Lindsay Narrie Bridges(Ryan Bridges), who were the pride of his life. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy, his brother, Dave, and his parents, Marion and Walter.
He was a devoted Christian whose faith guided every aspect of his life.
A lifelong history buff, Steve had an insatiable curiosity for the past and loved sharing his knowledge with others. His devotion to history was matched only by his commitment to serving his community, where he was a constant volunteer, always eager to lend a hand. His compassion and generosity made a lasting impact on all who knew him.
Steve’s legacy is one of unwavering faith, a love of learning, and a deep sense of responsibility to help others. He will be remembered for his kindness, his humility, his love of the Georgia State Panthers, and his ability to make those around him feel valued and loved.
A visitation will be held on February 3rd from 4-8pm at Eternal Hills Funeral Home in Snellville GA, followed by a celebration of life on February 16th at 3pm, at Westminster Presbyterian church in Snellville GA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Georgia State University (www.donate.gsu.edu) or Westminster Presbyterian Church.
