He started the magical journey of life in Salem, Virginia with his loving parents Eric & Mary Martin. Their baby boy would soon become the big brother. In the coming years he was joined by middle brother Garrett and finally youngest brother Gavin.
As Tyler moved through his school years his creativity began to blossom. Art class sparked a lifetime love of painting. It was also the birthplace of many life long friendships. In addition to art, he was a self-taught keyboard & guitar player. He and his dear friend Eric even teamed up to form a garage band.
After graduation Tyler’s family relocated to Georgia. Tyler followed in his father’s footsteps working behind the scenes on movies & television shows. He joined The I.A.T.S.E. LOCAL-479 and worked as a special effects technician & foreman. He loved his job and the people in it. His co-workers shared a bond that can only be described as family.
Tyler also had a special interest in the environment & preserving our precious species. Whether beluga whales in the ocean or owls in the sky they were all very special to him.
Tyler was a bright light across the universe. We all loved him dearly & he will be deeply missed. He leaves behind a large family and many close friends.
