Although you lived into your early eighties, for me you will always be in your early fifty, so vivid and special are my memories of our times together sitting under the moonlight on the veranda of our house when I was a young man talking just about anything. Though you were a hardworking man, you loved to spend time with us. 
My most precious memories were many evenings with you and indulged in reminiscences about your childhood, hunting and fishing trips. As a young boy, I was amazed by your impeccable memories in details about every single experience that shared with me. You could recall the exact places and times of the encounters and the beast or mammals that confronted and sizes and weights of such. Occasionally, I doubted some of your stories and tried to confirm with your cousin, aunty Daw Saw and to my surprise, your stories that shared with me were precise and meticulous. It made me sad when you talked about the time when you were infected with malaria during your hunting trip at western Yo-Ma region of Irrawaddy division.
One of the most adorable memories about you was when you complained about mom did not respond when you asked question. Actually, mom answered your question by nodding her head but you did not see her because you both were not in the same room. I thought it was cute when mom answered “can’t you see I nod my head?”
 I am proud to be your son and have great respect for you. As it’s written in John 5:19 “Truly, truly, I say to you, the son can do nothing of his own accord, but only what he sees the father doing. For whatever the father does, that the son does likewise.”  You taught me many things in life.  Just to name a few, you taught me how to play guitar and violin, how to handle and shoot the rifle, and how to use carpentry tools. The greatest of all, you taught me to trust and revere our Lord almighty.  I will treasure these memories as long as I live.

Dear A Pah Gyi
It's hard to forget someone who gave us so much to remember.  I can't write down memories  that we had about you. Cause a lot.  We just wanted to say like my son said " we will miss you, Po Po."  Our family will always think of you. Our felt so pain, but God decided it was your time to go. You just go before us. We will come to you at that time, too. We will meet again.  And just feel a few better we were closest people with you on your last days.


We have known Victor for quite sometime, through his daughter Sanda whom we met at church. Victor was a very kind and compassionate man. He liked to help people. He was talented, played different musical instruments. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. God bless his soul!!!

A time when Dad was always there

We are deeply sorry for the loss of a wonderful friend, a respected leader, a kind servant of God, a beloved husband, and an honorable father, Uncle Victor. We will always treasure all the memories we share with Uncle Victor and his family including studying the Bible at our house, Ma Sandar's house in Georgia, Ma Yin's house in Nashville, and Woodson Chapel congregation. Uncle Victor was always eager to study God's word and share His word with many people. He was also a very loving man who loved children dearly. We will never forget his big happy smile when our little Analyn was visiting him at Ma Yin's house. Memories of Uncle Victor will always be in our heart. Uncle Victor's family has our deepest condolences.

You looked serious and not much friendly on external which always drew my attention as a little boy before, A-Boh. The vest and short became your  identity until I couldn't cloth you with any other in my imagination together with all the polished and to be finished guitar frames being an observant boy. However, I'd never forget one Karen New Year where A-Boh Vic was playing Hawaiian music on his guitar on the stage with other musicians for the public in football ground of Ahmat 5. "Wow A-boh is nice" to a little boy who witnessed that only once in a lifetime but never depart from his memory.  However, A-Boh was the prime instrument of God in bringing change to the life of that little boy who is an Associate Professor in an Agricultural University of Myanmar today by confidently endorsing him to work for a Travel & Tourism company as a working student. That work and experience did change my attitude, habit and future outlook A-Boh, and I couldn't thank you enough for that until now dear, sir. That was also the only way to stay and earn in the capital which is full of new things to learn for a young man from the humble town. You are such a big change-maker. I thank God for having you with such a big role in my life. It's aching to learn the physical pain you were having during the last hours yet much comforting to know you are heavenly home with much precious legacy left for me to learn and follow. Thank you the big guy A-Boh who's not much friendly externally but lovely underneath. For if we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. So then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord’s. Romans 14:8.
