Walter C. Hardin, Jr., 89, of Lilburn, GA, left this world to join his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, July 13, 2011. He was born in Ballground, GA on August 29, 1921. Walter graduated from the University of Georgia and was a devoted member of Eastland Road United Methodist Church. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. Walter is survived by his wife of 57 years, Sue Hardin, their daughter Susan Woodall, granddaughters Amanda Woodall and Laurie Woodall and great grandson Tyler Woodall. A shining example of God’s love, he will forever be remembered with love and admiration. Visitation will be on Sunday, July 17, 2011, from 12-2 pm at Eternal Hills Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm on Sunday, July 17, 2011, in The Eternal Hills Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jack Nelson officiating. Interment will follow at Eternal Hills Memory Gardens.
