Mr. Wesley “Butch” Johnson Lyons, age 70 of Loganville, Georgia, passed away on Monday, October 17, 2016. Mr. Lyons was a loving husband, father and grandfather, a member of Mount Carmel Christian Church, an avid Braves fan, and loyal customer of Frontera Mex-Mex Grill. His loving wife, Rita H. Lyons, preceded him in death May 6, 2005. He is survived by his sons, Wade Lyons of Mims, Florida; and Mickey Lyons of Decatur, Georgia; grandchildren, Jack, Claire, Rita, Wesley and Rex; sister, Patricia Nelson of Lilburn, Georgia; nephew, Todd Nelson of Jacksonville, Florida; great niece, Cameron. The Lyons Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, October 21, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Mount Carmel Christian Church with remains placed instate at 10 a.m. Senior Minister Art Stansbury will be officiating. The interment will follow at Eternal Hills Memory Gardens. Those desiring may make donations to Mount Carmel Christian Church.
