Anna Hurlbut

Born April 6, 1931 in Salzburg, Austria, she was the daughter of the late Francz and Katharine (Pelz) Urdl.

Anna was employed by New England Gear Co. before her retirement.

She is survived by a sister, Gertrude Urdl of Southington; a brother Manfred Urdl of Austria; a sister-in-law, Frida Urdl of Austria; three grandsons, Michael Hurlbut and Robert Goodrich both of Southington, Nikolas Lambert of New Britain ; a great-grandson, David Ruel, and a great granddaughter Laura Hurlbut . She also leaves several nieces, nephews and extended family friends. She was predeceased by a son, Ralph F. Hurlbut, a granddaughter Jessica St. Clair and a brother Franz Urdl.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2009, at 11 am at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 10 am until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the St. Jude Children?s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
