Born Nov. 5, 1943 in New Haven, a son of the late Anthony J. and Elizabeth (Marcucci) Carbone Sr.
Anthony received his Masters degree in Spanish from the Central CT. State Teachers College. He taught in numerous Catholic schools.
He is survived by two brothers, Arthur Carbone Sr. and wife Loraine of Southington and Alphonse Carbone Sr. of St. Petersburg, FL; nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles and long time companion John Green of New Haven. He was predeceased by a nephew David Carbone.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, 11 a.m. at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington. Burial will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery. There are no calling hours.In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105
