We never knew you by Art, only Banks.  Thanks for all the crazy stories you shared with us all at Pig Out BBQ and our late night/early morning breakfasts.  Rest in peace.  Sending Peace, Love and Light to your family.

I am so sorry  to hear of Art’s passing.  I only recently got to know Art and immediately appreciated his good character and thoughtfulness.  He generously shared agricultural stories and knowledge with me. We spent many hours on Johnnycake Mountain Farm socializing.  I felt I had known him for a very long time and believed him to be a good friend that I could count on.  My sympathies to his family and friends.  I will certainly miss him as I am sure you all will as well.  I am privileged  to have shared time with him .  God bless him.  Dwight Harris

Arts Family, 

I always heard a lot about the family but never had the pleasure of meeting all of you. 

Please except my sincere condolences with Arts passing. Hold the fond memories close at heart for they will get you through the difficult days ahead. In time,  I pray these memories will help to heal your hearts. 

Art you always told me we all gotta go sometime but, way to soon and way to young my friend. Gonna miss you man. 

I’ll never forget all you’ve done for me personally as well as the Gang Scarpa Shoda Boys From The Hill.  

Always willing to help, always giving me a time with my deer hunting skills or lack there of but,  always willing to help Lukas and I out with pointers on hunting and field dressing over the years. It meant more than you know to both of us. 

For decades you and the rest of the Southington Beef crew always made our annual gathering and personal barbecues a time to remember with your delicious Kielbasa, hamburgers and sausage just to mention a few choice meats.

I will never forget your generosity to my family and I which goes way back when Eugene was still with us but, most importantly, your friendship throughout the years. 

Your friendship never wavered, you told it like it was wether it was popular or not. 

See yah on the other side brother, rock the heavens, give my best to my people and friends you know exactly who they are.

I'm going to miss our conversations and bantering back & forth at the Carousel Restaurant, Dairy Farms and years ago at Family Pizza. Art was a tell it as it is guy, very generous and good sense  of humor.
