Barbara Plouffe

Barbara Jeanne (Beaudoin) Plouffe of Meriden passed away on October 16th, 2023. She was the wife of the late of Gordon C. Plouffe, who passed away October 7, 2010. Born January 16, 1947 in Waterbury, she was the daughter of the late Conrad and Lucie Beaudoin.

Barbara (Bj) was a graduate of Wilby High School in 1965. She retired with over 30 years of state service from Naugatuck Valley Community College. She enjoyed spending time with her family and working outside in her gardens. She will be remembered by most as humorous with a forever youthful spirit.

Barbara is survived by her two daughters, Amy Moffo of Meriden and Allyson Moffo and her husband, Anthony Varrone of Waterbury; five grandchildren, Melyssa Blake of Cheshire, Ally Fazzino of Deep River, Luigi Fazzino of Higganum, Michela Blake of Cheshire and Courtney Varrone of Waterbury; two brothers, Charles Beaudoin of Waterbury, James Beaudoin and wife Del Vierra of Prospect, sister-in-law, Joanne Beaudoin of Cheshire and several nieces and nephews. Barbara’s very special friend, Anna Marchese, was like a sister to her and a forever loving friend of the family.

She was predeceased by her son Carmine Moffo III, and her brother Robert Beaudoin.

A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, November 4th at 10:00am at St. Anthony Church, 4 Union City Road, Prospect, CT 06712. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
