

Bonnie Joann (Woolery) Conaty, 77, of Southington, passed away on Thursday, April 18th 2013, at Norwalk Hospital surrounded by her devoted family. She was the beloved wife of James Conaty for 56 years.
She was born in Osceola, Missouri, the daughter of the late David and Sarah (Campbell) Woolery. Bonnie was a retired employee of Mt. Southington Ski Area. She was a surrogate grandmother to the Hartford Hawks Girls Basketball team, an avid Yankees fan, and always supporting her grandchildren by attending each and every sports game and dance recital. Bonnie was a voracious reader, a crossword puzzle fanatic, and a legend when it came to decorating her home for Christmas. She enjoyed traveling, skiing, hiking, gardening, but most of all loved her family dearly.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons, Kevin and wife Ann Marie Conaty, Mark and wife Cheryl Conaty all of Southington and Christopher and wife Ellen Conaty of Portland, OR, five grandchildren, Kristen, Kelly, Patrick, AJ, and Ada.
She also leaves behind a sister Shirley Gibson of Texas, a brother David Woolery, sisters Vicky Lynn Mercer and Patricia McCall, all of Kansas, sisters-in-laws Eleanor Barnard, Nancy Conaty, Mildred Conaty, brother-in-law Gerald Conaty as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by sister Betty Austin, brothers-in-law Robert and Walter Conaty and sisters-in-law Mary Sarrazin and Elizabeth Conaty.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30am on Tuesday April 23, 2013 at Della Vecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. Burial will be at State Veteran´s Cemetery in Middletown. Calling hours will be on Monday from 5-8 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in Wilton, CT.
