Brian was my late husband John Mathis’ nephew. Many good memories from years ago but then we all lost touch. I reconnected with Brian on FB and we stayed in touch. I was devastated when he shared the cancer dx but always tried to relate positive thoughts to him. I’m so sorry for you all, especially his children, whom he obviously adored. May he be at peace now and God bless you all.

To the Mathis Family, I had the privilege to work with Brain on a CAT detail in Dallas Texas in the spring of 2017. We hadn’t worked together before but after a few days he was like family to all of us! I’m so sorry to hear this heartbreaking news, he will be remembered in all of our hearts. I’ve attached a group photo when we went for dinner at a local BBQ restaurant in Plano Texas. RIP my friend!
