Carol Carlson

Born in Glastonbury April 26, 1947, a daughter of the late Stella (Yonika) and Joseph Sala.  She resided in Southington and South Kingston, RI. She was a parishioner of the Zion Lutheran Church, Southington and St. Andrews Lutheran, Charleston, RI.

Carol is survived by two wonderful daughters, Wendy Daniels and her husband Peter and Jennifer Perzanowski and her husband Scott. She also leaves the best cookie and craft helpers her grandchildren, Alyssa and Ryan Daniels and Joshua and Kate Lynn Perzanowski; two sisters, Marvera wife of Brian Murphy of FL and Geraldeen Costello of Pinellas Park, FL; a brother Robert Sala and his wife Carol of Stamford, CT; brother and sister-in-law Walter and Alma Carlson of CT, many nieces, nephews, aunts and cousins. Carol retired from Canberra Industries in 2002. She enjoyed having Halloween and Easter egg hunt parties for her grandchildren and friends. She also loved to cook for Robert, her favorite traveling and beach bum buddy. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 10, 2009 at 9:15 a.m. from the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington to the Zion Lutheran Church for a service at 10 a.m. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in South End Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m.
