Christopher J. Roberts

Chris was born in Waterbury on October 16, 1967, the son of the late Thomas Roberts Sr. who passed away just 5 months ago and the late Julia Inez (Howell) Roberts. He graduated from Wolcott High School in 1986. He was an avid fan of: NASCAR, Dale Earnhardt Jr., NY Mets, NY Giants, and going fishing. He loved his dogs Evan & Max and the late Blue.

Besides his wife Tami-Lyn, he leaves his son Christopher Jr., daughter Rebecca-Lyn and Michael Tortora, all of Wolcott, his sister Lynn Collins and his brother Thomas J. Roberts Jr. and his wife Sheryl, their son his godchild Jake, all of Waterbury as well as several other nieces, nephews and cousins.

He will also be deeply missed by his father-in-law Joseph Downey Sr. sisters and brothers in law: Sherri Lynch-Downey, Joseph Downey, Robert and Wendy Downey, Candi and Gregory Sylvester, Edward Downey and Leanne Herren, Traci and Jeffrey Campbell as well as many, many friends.

Besides his parents and his dog Blue, he was predeceased by his sister Susan Roberts.

Calling hours will be Tuesday evening from 4 to 8 PM at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home 690 Woodtick Rd. in Wolcott. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
