Corey Elizabeth Zack

She is survived by her parents, Tom and Cindy Zack of Westbrook CT, her sisters Rebecca of Albany, NY, Jessica of Norwalk, CT and her brother Spencer of Austin, TX. In addition to her immediate family her grandparents Don and Gloria Burkhardt, her Aunt Cathy Russo, her cousin Stacey Stewart and her Uncle Carl Burkhardt. She was predeceased by her great-grandmother, Rose Tice, her grandparents Mary and Matthew Zajackowski and her Uncle Corey's life was marked by a passion for defending and saving animals in need.

She worked tirelessly to ensure that all animals within her reach were safe. For the past five years Corey lived in Miami. It was here she found her place in life. A place filled with loving friends and co-workers who thought of her like family. Corey's big heart and sweet nature will be missed by all who knew her. Corey's life will be remembered and celebrated always.

Services will be held at St. Thomas Church. 99 Bristol St., Southington, CT at 10:30 Monday May 11th. Burial will be private.
