David was born on July 2, 1969 in Waterbury son of David Evitts and Elizabeth (Davis) Evitts. He graduated from Wolcott High School. He obtained his CDL license and was the Chief refuse collector for the city of Waterbury.
Besides his parents of Wolcott, he is survived by his longtime companion Kristine Higgins and her daughter Kalee Higgins-Grey of Prospect, his maternal grandmother Anne E. Davis of Wolcott, a brother Scott Evitts of Waterbury, a sister Ruby Lank of New London, and uncle Richard and his wife Kathleen Davis of Wolcott, several cousins, great aunts and uncles and his beloved dog Titan.
Funeral services will be Thursday 10 a.m. at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home 690 Woodtick Rd. Wolcott. Burial will be in Prospect Cemetery. Calling hours are Wednesday from 5 -8 PM.
