

He was the husband of Cheryl (Diehl) Landry. Donald was born on August 22, 1961 in Meriden and was the son of Maureen C. (Squires) Landry of Wallingford and the late Lucien D. Landry.
Donald was a graduate of Lyman Hall High School in Wallingford and also the Greater New Haven Technical College majoring in Biomedical Engineering. He love time spent in Florida at the family home playing golf and fishing. He was also an avid NASCAR fan. He loved his truck and his canine companions Buddy and Emma Jean. Donald had been employed by Ulbrich Shaped Wire in North Haven as a Purchasing Coordinator.
He will be sorely missed by all his family, friends and co-workers.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his mother Maureen C. (Squires) Landry of Wallingford. His Mother-in-law Eleanor Diehl, Sister-in-laws Karen(Tom) Maquire and Cynthia (Ron Sr.) Emanuel. Donald is also survived by nephew Ron Emanuel Jr. and his wife Audrey, grandnephews; Justin, Ryan and Daniel Emanuel and a niece Amy Perry and her husband David Perry along with many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by a nephew Daniel Emanuel.
The family wishes to thank the doctors and nurses at The HCC New Britain Campus for their care given to Donald over the past week.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday May 16, at noon at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home 211 N. Main St. in Southington. Visitation will be from 11 am until the time of the service. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Animal Haven, 89 Mill Rd., North Haven, CT 06473.
