Born August 21, 1947 in Italy, she was the daughter of the late Jacomo and Concetta (LaPorta) Aldi.
Edna was a graduate of Southington High School and president of the O.P.E.I.U Union. She was employed by A.F.T. CT in Rocky Hill. Edna loved to cook for her family.
Besides her husband she leaves her children, AnJeane Jenkins and husband Jason, Dan DuPuis and wife Annmarie and Rene Hall and husband Teon all of Plantsville;
her grandchildren who she cherished and loved to go to the beach and camping with, Michael, Joey, Danny, Ryan, Madalyn, Kala, Teon Jr., Sarah, David, Daniel, Shawna and Brandon. She also leaves several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington at 11 a.m. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
