Edward DuBois

Ed was born on March 28,1950 in Southington. He was the son of the late Rene and Aurella (Deprey) DuBois. He attended Marion School and worked at Kuhn in Meriden for over 40 years before his battle with Parkinson's disease.

Ed was a big Yankees and Celtics fan. He enjoyed baseball, bowling, horseshoes and other outdoor activities. He will be greatly missed by all who shared his life.

Ed is survived by his brother Roderick DuBois, his sister Linda Casale and her husband Richard and her two sons, Rick and Brian; Ed's sister-in-law Annie DuBois and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three brothers, James, John and Raynold.

We'd like to thank the staff at the Summit for the five years of care given to Edward.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington. Burial will be at St. Thomas Cemetery. Calling hours will begin at 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
