

She was born in New Britain in 1945; she attended New Britain schools, graduating form Mary Immaculate Academy, later earning her nursing degree.
An avid traveler, Elizabeth cruised many parts of the earth including Australia and New Zealand, the South Pacific, Mexico, the Caribbean and the Mediterranean Seas. Between trips, she enjoyed the casinos in Vegas, New Jersey, and CT. She began work at St. Francis Hospital and later worked many years at Dr. Leonard Glaser?s office. Her easy going and warm personality made her many friends.
Besides her husband Andrew, she leaves a daughter, Lindsay Barniak of Southington, and joins a predeceased son, Jason. She also leaves a sister Mary Fiore of Rocky Hill, a brother Walter Wassil of Florida and two nieces, Jamie Wassil and Katherine Fiore and two nephews, Brad Wassil and David Fiore. She also leaves behind her adorable puppies Newman and Morty. Services will be private Donations may be made in her name to Bread For Life of Southington, CT or the George Bray Cancer Center in New Britain, CT.
