Ellie D'Elia

Ellie was born on June 22, 1963 in Waterbury, she was the daughter of the late Vincent R. and Lucy (Longo)D?Elia. She had been employed by Park Manor and Crest Manor nursing centers in Waterbury.

Ellie is survived by her son Jimmy- Lee D?Elia of Prospect and a brother Vincent D?Elia and his wife Assunta of Prospect, three sisters Susan Terni and her husband Gary , Jeanne Castings and her husband James and Mary D?Elia all of Waterbury along with several nieces and nephews.

Ellie was caring and compassionate. She loved helping others that were less fortunate than her. She enjoyed jewelry making and the simple things in life. She was also studying to become a licensed funeral service provider.

The funeral will be held on Friday March 11 at 10:30 ( directly) at St Anthony? s Church, 4 Union City Rd. ( junction of RT 69/68) at 10:30 am. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Waterbury.

Calling hours will be on Thursday ( TODAY) from 5-7 pm at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home 211 N. Main St. in Southington.
