

Born in Frankfurt Germany on April 25, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Bernhard and Katherine (Behnke) Lundie. She immigrated here in the early 1950?s and raised her family in Southington. During that time she was the director of the Southington YMCA nursery school and ?Kiddie Camp? as well as working at the Aqua Turf Club. For many years she resided in Bristol where she worked as a cook at the Ingraham House Retreat Home as well as the Clock and Watch Museum. She was a devoted and active member of Asbury United Methodist Church in Forestville with Christian Outreach and Soup Kitchen. Her hobbies included gardening and cooking. She even hosted her own German cooking show, Guten Appetit, on CPTV.
Besides her husband William Archer, she is survived by her two sons Michael and his wife Cindy Colella of Southington, Daniel and his wife Victoria Colella of Chapel Hill, NC, her daughter Debbie and her husband Jeffrey Deprey of Southington, nine grandchildren Shannon, Michael and his wife Sarah, Sarah, Daryl, Desiree, Henry, George, Ellinor and Caroline. She was predeceased by two sons Richard Colella and Hans Peter Colella.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday at Noon at Asbury United Methodist Church 90 Church Ave, Forestville. There are no calling hours. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
