Born in Wilton, ME on September 28, 1940, he was the son of the late James and Hazel Gallant. He was a retired employee of Pratt & Whitney Aircraft in North Haven where he worked for over 28 years. He was also a member of the St. Pierre Social Club in Wallingford, the Polish Falcons #307 and the Sons of Italy in Southington.
Besides his wife of years he is survived by a daughter April and her husband Brian Nadeau of Wolcott, a son Shawn M. Gallant of Southington, five grandchildren Michael Gallant, Karlee Gallant, David Pelletier all of Southington, Brian Nadeau and Justin Nadeau both of Wolcott. He was predeceased by his son James Gallant.
