Frank J. Campagnano

Southington – Frank J. Campagnano, 92, of Water St., passed away on March 23, 2009 at the Jerome Home in New Britain. Born November 3, 1916 in Southington he was the son of the late Fiore and Immaculata (Forgione) Campagnano.Frank was a veteran of WWII Serving with the U.S. Army Air Corp where he was stationed in England. He was a parishioner of St. Thomas Church, the Son’s of Italy Club and the Gang of Scarpa Shoda.He was employed for 40 years with Clark Brothers Bolt Co.

He is survived by a brother Alfred Campagnano of Southington; two sisters, Jennie Marenna and Vera Fisher both of Southington; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Pasco Campagnano and a sister Sylvia Alger.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 26, 2009 at 9:15 a.m. from the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington to St. Thomas Church, for a mass at 10 a.m. Burial with military honors will be in St. Thomas Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Wednesday from 5 - 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the St. Jude Children Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN. 38105
