Gary R. DiBenedetto

Born in Southington on February 3, 1953 , he is the son of Mildred (DiNello) DiBenedetto and the late Mario "Matty" DiBenedetto. Gary started in management at D&L in CT. Gary moved to Hawaii and owned and operated Tropical Excursions. He then moved back to Connecticut, and was also CFO at Quality Sales in Hartford. Gary was a parishioner of St. Thomas Church and also a member of the Sons of Italy.

In addition to his wife and mother he is survived by two sons, Lucas DiBenedetto and his wife Valerie and Travis DiBenedetto all of Southington a daughter Danielle DiBenedetto of Boston, two brothers Lawrence Gianatti of VT., and Barry DiBenedetto of Southington , five grandchildren Abi, Kaila and Carmine DiBenedetto, and Carter and Asher Walsh along with many nieces nephews and cousins.

The Funeral will be held on Thursday at 9:15 a.m. from the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. to St. Thomas Church at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Thomas Cemetery.
