Gary Noel Wojewoda

Born in Bristol son of the late Walerian and Elisa (DeBiase) Wojewoda. He retired from CL&P after 38 years. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving as a Sgt with the U.S. Marine Corps.

He was a member of the Christian Fellowship Center in Bristol, the Bristol Fish & Game Club. Gary was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed making Kielbasa with his family.

Besides his wife he is survived by his daughters, Rochelle DeKow and Brenda Scully both of Bristol, his step children, Pietro DiChello of Ft. Riley,KS and Esteereena DiChello of Southington, 2 brothers Walter Wojewoda and his wife Kathrine of Bristol and Eric Wojewoda and his wife Debra of Terryville, his grandchildren, Mitchell and Alex DeKow and Brett Scully, his dearest friend, Robert Carlson and his wife Louise. He also leaves nieces and nephews; Robert Wojewoda also his godson,Troy Wojewoda, Katie Vallee, Victoria Wojewoda, his goddaughters; Christine Carlson, gina Maher and his CL&P family who he loved.

The Funeral will be held Monday 9:15 a.m. from the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. to the Christian Fellowship Center, 43 Prospect St, Bristol, at 10 a.m. Burial will be with military honors at the State Veterans Cemetery in Middletown. Calling hours will be Sunday 2-5 p.m.
