

Grace (Arre) Musto, 96, of Southington, died peacefully Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2013 at the Southington Care Center with her family as well as the Southington Care family by her side. She was the wife of the late Joseph N. Musto.
Born January 10, 1917 in New Britain, she was the daughter of Michael and Mary (Filonardi) Arre.
Grace was a member of the St. Rita’s Circle and the Democratic Women’s Club. She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed sewing and antiques. Her life centered around her family and she was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was, in both word and deed the definition of unconditional love. She will be forever remembered by her family with admiration and love and by the Southington Care family for her kind and gentle ways.
She is survived by two children, Judith Grimaldi and husband Ralph of Southington, Dennis Musto and Mary Guadagno of Berlin, a brother Dominic Arre of Bristol; a sister Marion Testa of Southington; four grandchildren, Heather Alfano and husband Todd, Hilary Birdsey and husband Jeff, J.D. Musto and Tiffany Esposito and husband Dominic; four great grandchildren, Morgan Birdsey, Aiden Alfano, Brittany Robarge and Dominic Esposito Jr. and several nieces and nephews.
A special heartfelt thank you to Dr. Craig Bogdanski, and all of the staff at the Southington Care Center for their caring and loving attention to Grace over the years.
The Funeral will be held Saturday, 9:15 am from the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. Southington to St. Thomas Church at 10 am for a Mass. Burial will be at St. Thomas Cemetery. Calling hours will be Friday 4-7 pm. Donations may be made in her memory to the Southington Care Center, 45 Meriden Ave. Southington, CT 06489.
