Harold Cyphers

He was born on May 31, 1923, in Meriden and was the son of the late Harold and Ruth (Anderson) Cyphers Sr. He was a veteran of WWII serving in the US Army. He retired from Wiffle Ball Corp of Shelton.

Besides his wife he is survived by his children Randall H. Cyphers of Thousand Oaks, CA, Lee Cyphers, and Timothy Cyphers both of Meriden, Robert Boulerice and his wife Evelyne of Waterbury, Alan Boulerice and his wife Laura of Thomaston, Steven Boulerice and his wife Renee of Naugatuck, Jacqueline Lachance and her husband Jeff of Plainville, and Khristine Sholtis and her husband Kerry of FL, a sister Janice Ligas of Cromwell, 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.

He was pre-deceased by sons Nelson and Thomas Cyphers and a granddaughter Amber Lee Cyphers.

Services with military honors will be held in Walnut Grove Cemetery in Meriden at 12p.m. on Thursday August 5th. The DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St., Southington is assisting the family with arrangements.
