I was so shocked and sorry to hear of Henri's passing.  I connected to her - she was so full of life, so positive and so alive.... She has passed to a better life, Henri is and was a "special person" and a life force to many people.

Not everyday will a Henri come to us,

I looked up to her, Bless her and the family she has left.

Someone we thought would always be there has slipped away. Smiles flash across each face when we remember special moments shared with the one we loved so much.  Tears will well-up with pride at having known somelike like that at all.  Henri, was a true friend of 20+ years, A champion, who never ever gave up and was an inspiration to us all.  We will miss her laughs and hugs and try to find comfort remembering that warm feeling she so generously gave to everyone lucky enough to share but a moment with Henri

She was so friendly and kind, it was easy to talk to her and feel as though you've known her for a long time.  My thoughts and prayers are with you all.  God Bless.

I remember Henriette from the YMCA, in the pool.  I met her some years ago, and she befriended me right away, and wanted me to swim and waterwalk with her.  She spoke as though we had known each other forever.  I had just come back from a trip, on a bicycle, and told her of my ventures in Austria.  Since that meeting, we grew as a group in the pool, and everyone always shared their life there in that pool.  It was a needful place for many, and still is.  She also came to my house, and purchased a table and chairs, when my mother in law passed away.  She loved that set, and was proud to show it when a group of us went a few times to breakfast there in her 'new' home in Cheshire.  It was there, when all of us became aware that the tragedy had happened on 9/11, when someone called to tell her, and the tv went right on.  I will remember Henriette as a good friend, always happy, and smiling.  I had missed her already, as she stopped coming to the Y, and I had heard she was not doing well.  I will be away when you are gathering at the funeral home, and am sorry I could not express myself in person.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Henri's passing.  I knew Henri as a friend and business acquaintance through her involvement in Franklin Mortgage.  I would always look forward to calling on her as she was always so upbeat and happy to see me.  Her friendly smile and sense of humor will be missed by all.  She was truly a very special person.
I am truly sorry that I will not be able to attend the wake or memorial service as I will be out of the area for the next two days, but would like to offer my sincere condolences to her family.

This is very hard.....because Henri cannot be replaced....I remember meeting her way back in the 70's when she dropped her daughter at our house who then became my daughters best friend.  Her vibrant smile was majestic and very meaningful.  Henri, you and your family are a part of us....forever. I remember when our daughters would call us late at night what happens if one of us dies....and we both would try to comfort them and say that won't happen for a long time....well my dear dear friend this is not how it was suppose to be but I guess some day we'll understand.....but for now there is no rhyme or reason to any of this....we loved to be at weddings with you especially you and me embarrassing our daughters with Jerry and Chuck just sitting and wondering what these crazy womer are doing. But I
always cherrished every moment with you and yours.  I really don't know if this is a correct way to pay tribute....but this is from my heart which is aching for your dear family....and will do whatever I can to help them.  You all are so special and a product of a special lady who was

A loving wife, mother, grandmother  and friend that will be deeply missed by all whom she touched. I would also like to add that she was the "Teta" or aunt that adopted and raised me as one of her family so many years ago. All the holidays, weekend get togethers, the wonderful advice she gave and with such a great smile and wonderful sense of humor. She will live on in my heart and in all the wonderful memories that she gave me. To a woman that knew how to live like there was no tomorrow, love with all her heart, and laugh from the depths of her soul. Henriette, may you rest in peace, I will miss you dearly. Our Czech family will never be the same.

We did not know Yvette's mother personally, we had never met her.  Yet, anyone who knows Yvette- knows her mother.  As we read the obituary for Henri- it is obvious that Yvette's love of life and meeting people comes from her mother.  Henri has passed along to Yvette that zest for living and that will perpetuate her life her on earth, as Pat and Yvette's children exemplify that zest for living and so on.  
There are no words to make Henri's family feel better at this time.  The loss of a loved one is always horrific- no matter how it happens -at whatever age.  However, a life that has been lived well and is relfected in those who are left behind- is a tribute in itself. Henri has left that life well lived behind- as reflected in her daughter Yvette and her grandchildren- Parker and Gabbi.
