He was born Jan. 4, 1930 in Jepson, AR, the son of the late Samuel and Elizabeth (Howard) Burnett. He retired from Bristol Brass. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
Besides his wife he is survived by his children; Michael Burnett and his wife Chris, Susan Budnick and her husband Robert all of Southington, Lori D’Amico of Waterbury and Tracy Seguljic of Kensington, his grandchildren Jaime Burnett, Matthew Budnick, Megan Lebron, Skye Budnick, Nicholas Seguljic, Noah Seguljic and a great granddaughter Hailey Pires. He was predeceased by a son-in-law Richard Seguljic.

The Funeral will be held Monday 10 a.m. at St. Thomas Church for a Mass. Burial will be at St. Thomas Cemetery. Donations may be made in his memory to the Hartford Heath Care at Home, 300 Queen St. Southington, CT 06489. DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. Southington is handling arrangements.
