She was born Dec. 18, 1930 in Chicago, daughter of the late Elmer and Isabelle (Powell) Simpson. She had lived in Sarasota and Venice FL for 30 years and was a member of the Pine Shores Presbyterian Church. She loved the theater and bowling
She is survived by her children, Claudia Tamplin and husband Allen of KY, David N. Beach the IV and wife Janet of FL and Tori Hickerson and husband Tim of Southington, her grandchildren; Ryan Bennett, Greg Bennett and fiancé Lisa Zampella, Joey Beach and Sarah Beach She was predeceased by a grandson Bobby Beach.
The Funeral services and burial will be at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. Donations may be made in her memory to the Meals On Wheels Association of America, 203 S. Union St., Alexandria, VA, 22314.
